I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Binghamton University in 2025.

My research focuses on ethnic politics, migration, minority rights, displacement, and intergroup relations, particularly in Europe and the Middle East. I study how states and societies manage diversity, with an emphasis on immigrant integration, minority recognition, regional political contexts, and conflict-induced displacement.

My work combines computational social science, geospatial analysis, survey research, and causal inference methods to study political behavior and inequality across countries and regions. Current projects examine how regional environments shape integration preferences, migration attitudes, and intergroup relations, including in contexts affected by displacement and climate-related pressures.

My ongoing book project examines the determinants of minority policies in new European democracies.

My research has been published in Nationalism and Ethnic Politics and Nations and Nationalism. Additional manuscripts are currently under review and in preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
